Avant-Garde irregular sculptural steel fruit plate memphis inspired

First conceived in 1988 and originally handcrafted in sterling silver by Georg Jensen's master silversmiths in Copenhagen, this sculptural fruit plate belongs to one of the most radical moments in the history of decorative metalwork, the collision of Memphis boldness with the exacting precision of Scandinavian craft. Its mirror-polished stainless steel surface appears to have been caught mid-crumple: concave depressions pool like water, raised ridges cut across the plane with geological force, and four corners lift dramatically from the surface as though resisting gravity itself. Every distortion reflects and refracts the room around it, turning the plate into a constantly shifting abstract composition that changes with every movement of light and every shift in perspective.
