This piece draws directly from that formal intelligence. A wide, folded trapezoidal shade its geometry closer to a pitched roof or a modernist awning than anything the history of the table lamp would suggest sits atop a tapering conical base, the two elements connected by a short cylindrical neck that locks the composition into a silhouette of quiet authority. The shade's angled planes direct light downward with precision while the underside glows warmly, creating a pool of focused 2700K illumination that is as suited to a reading surface as it is to a dinner table set for atmosphere. Four dimming levels 100, 70, 40 percent, and off allow the lamp to shift register entirely, from working light to candlelit warmth in three touches.
