In 1932 Poul Henningsen created the Snake Chair, bending a single continuous loop of steel tubing into a form that mimicked the fluid coil of a serpent and in doing so produced one of the most structurally audacious pieces of pre-war Bauhaus furniture ever conceived. This collection pays tribute to that radical act of material intelligence with complete fidelity to its founding proposition: a single unbroken chrome tube that spirals from a flat circular base through a sinuous Z-shaped spine to cradle either a round upholstered seat alone, in the bar stool configuration, or a circular seat and matching disc backrest in the dining chair variant.
